Residential Courses:

Players have the opportunity to benefit from expert tuition covering all aspects of technique and interpretation during sectional and orchestral rehearsal under the guidance of leading UK recorder teachers. Players are expected to provide their own instruments and stands but there are some instruments available for players to use, particularly larger bass, great and contra bass recorders. Courses have a dedicated team of house-staff on hand 24 hours a day to look after the well-being of the players. All staff have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau.

*

Both courses finish with a concert:  the Easter course with an informal concert for family and friends at the school - the Summer course finishes with a concert in a top national venue.

*

Course fees include musical tuition, accommodation with full board, all course activities, loan of music and instruments where appropriate, the concert, transport for course activities and membership of the SRP for a year (summer course only). Travel costs to and from the course are not included.
