Giving Programme
Currently the orchestra
is self-funding, relying on small donations and income from players' fees to
finance the annual course, staff and administration. The tours were
financed jointly by a private legacy specifically for this use and income
from the players' contributions. In order to continue the good work
NYRO has begun, funding is needed from external sources to help support
financially the cost of running the orchestra, proceed with the development
plan for the future, invest in larger instruments and to offer bursaries to
players in need of assistance. There are several levels of support
categories available, from Friend, Patron or Desk Sponsor to Gold Sponsor,
renewable on a yearly basis. Please contact the office if you would
like any more information or to meet with a member of the committee to
discuss your support of the orchestra.
